People had to go to church once a month or they had to pay a fine.People could not make their beds or cook on Sunday. The church service was about 4 hours long. People struggled for religious freedom. What they believed in depended on where they lived. New england people had very strict lives and were mostly Puritans. Middle colonists were quakers, catholics, lutherans, jews, and other religions. Southern people were mostly Baptist and Anglicans.Don’t you like our religion better?
